About This Publication

Technology Intelligence You Can Act On

Mellon Technology is an independent media platform delivering expert analysis of the AI, cybersecurity, semiconductor, and infrastructure trends that are reshaping how industries compete. We write for professionals who need depth, precision, and honest context — not hype.

Why Mellon Technology Exists

Technology is moving faster than most professional education can track. Leaders across finance, healthcare, logistics, manufacturing, and government are making decisions about AI, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure — often with incomplete information, or worse, with information filtered through vendor interests.

Mellon Technology was founded in 2021 to address that gap. Our mission is straightforward: deliver accurate, context-rich, expert-level analysis of the technology trends that actually matter to how organizations operate — written in language that practitioners and leaders can use without a computer science degree.

We are not a trade publication. We are not a vendor news aggregator. We are a technology intelligence platform built for professionals who need to understand what is actually happening in technology — and what it means for their organizations and careers.

Depth Over Volume

We publish fewer, longer, better-researched pieces rather than chasing daily news volume. If it's worth your time, we make it worth the read.

Honest About Uncertainty

Technology is full of genuine uncertainty. We distinguish clearly between what is known, what is likely, and what is speculation. We do not inflate confidence to generate engagement.

Written for Practitioners

Our readers are technology leaders, engineers, strategists, and decision-makers. We write for their level — not for the casual technology curious, and not for academic researchers.

Transparent on Sponsorship

We produce both editorial and advertorial content. We label both clearly. Advertorial content is sponsored and disclosed. Editorial content is independent. We treat this distinction as a non-negotiable commitment to our readers.

How We Operate — and What We Won't Do

Mellon Technology publishes both independent editorial content and advertorial (sponsored) content. These are governed by different standards — and we are explicit about both. Our core editorial commitments:

All advertorial content is clearly labeled — Every piece of sponsored content on Mellon Technology carries a prominent "Advertorial" label. We never publish sponsored content without disclosure.
Editorial content is independently produced — Our editorial team makes all decisions about independent articles: topics, angles, conclusions, and recommendations. No advertiser or sponsor has input into editorial coverage.
Statistics and claims are sourced — Data cited in our articles comes from published research, company disclosures, or attributed interviews. We do not fabricate statistics or cite unnamed proprietary research without disclosure.
We do not allow advertorial content to masquerade as editorial — A sponsor cannot purchase editorial coverage. They can only sponsor explicitly labeled advertorial content. The two are never mixed.
We do not publish claims we cannot verify — Sponsored content that includes statistics, performance claims, or product comparisons must be supported by verifiable sources. We review and challenge claims before publication.
We do not allow paid placement to influence search or article rankings — The prominence of content on Mellon Technology is determined by editorial judgment and reader engagement, not sponsorship revenue.
